➡ Overview V2
A highly requested feature, we have released Version 2 of Overview on StoriiCare. This automatically replaces our existing Overview feature, and all client overview data has been ported over automatically. A summary of key updates are as follows:
- Field template customization
- New default fields and field types
- 'Linked fields', including Measurements
- Optional "Click to reveal" setting
- Optional 'Hide if empty' setting
Clients are now able to customize their overview fields template themselves, via a new settings cog accessible from the overview page of any service user. Please note that any changes to the Overview fields template will apply to ALL service users on your account.
We have added a number of new default fields that are generated upon service user creation, including photo consent, discharge date, email and many more. Importantly, if these default fields are not applicable to your business, the fields template can easily be updated, applying to all service users.
When creating new custom fields, there are a number of field types to choose from. Available field types include:
Text
Number
Rich Text
Options (Dropdown)
User Select (Both Staff and Service Users)
Contacts
Address
Date/time
Name
'Linked fields' on Overview will pull data either from Overview or from other areas across StoriiCare, such as measurements.
'Click to reveal' is ideal for sensitive field data that should not be automatically shown on the screen without clicking directly on that field.
'Hide if empty' is great to reduce any unpopulated fields that, whilst may still be important for other service users, may not be relevant for a specific service user. This makes an Overview compact and easy to read, no matter which service user you are working with.
We've updated the Visual Description area into a 'General Overview' field. This was based on client feedback. If this is not suitable to you, you can edit the 'General Overview' field back to 'Visual Description'.
Overview search/filter - You can now easily find the field you need by searching for it with our filters. For clients with large datasets, this is helpful in reducing time scrolling to find fields.
Show field data in analytics - We will also soon be releasing the ability to show any Overview field data within the analytics feature on StoriiCare. This will provide clients with a new way to view custom data on StoriiCare.
➡ Direct Login Beta
If preferred, staff may now login to a StoriiCare business directly via a username and a password, when enabled for that staff member. This removes the need to authenticate a device prior to staff being able to log-in to a business. This is an opt-in process, and our original authentication-login method will remain on StoriiCare for those that choose to keep it. This development is a step towards SSO & LDAP, which we plan to implement later this year.
In order to enable Direct Login for a staff member, you must have access to the Staff Records area in Business Settings. Super Users on StoriiCare by default will have access to this area. Select the staff member(s) you would like to provide direct access, and set 'Staff Direct Login' to 'Allow' by clicking the open door icon. Remember to save your new settings.
The Direct Login feature is incredibly useful if you have staff members working from home on a permanent or temporary basis, and they are required to login via their own device. Direct Login access can be granted or removed at any time. For providers who are comfortable giving all staff direct login access, this can simply be applied to all staff members in bulk.
Each staff member has a pre-generated username that they can use for direct login. This can be found on the "Staff" tab by clicking on the 'I' icon next to their name. Clicking the username will automatically copy it to your clipboard.
Please note: Multi-location access via one staff username and password is coming to StoriiCare this quarter.
➡ Rich Text for Incidents & Accidents
Text areas within the Incidents and Accidents feature are now Rich Text. This provides the ability to add more depth to a report, including formatting, in addition to media such as images, videos and Word Documents. This is useful if you are required to include an additional PDF Incident/Accident report for your records.
Thank you for all your feedback! We truly appreciate you helping us make StoriiCare the best it can be. If you have any feature ideas, feedback or interest in testing upcoming functionality, please visit our feature request board from your StoriiCare profile or get in touch!
