➡ Session Time Update

Super Users are now able to extend the session time available to each staff member before they are auto-signed out of StoriiCare. You will find this new area within StoriiCare Business settings. The timeout is set at 30 minutes by default. It can be reduced to 15 minutes, or extended up to a full day if required. If your staff like to use multiple StoriiCare tabs on the browser at the same time and experience auto-sign out on a regular basis, we recommend utilising this new feature and extending your session time!

➡ Groups now available in Overview

StoriiCare Groups are now visible directly within the Care Overview / Face Sheet! If you use Groups, you should automatically see these displayed in a new field on your Service User's Care Overviews. You are now able to edit groups directly from the field; simply hover over the Group(s) field, click the pencil icon and you will be able to add or edit groups without leaving the Care Overview.

By adding groups to the Care Overview, you can now use them as an important filter when exporting data or creating reports.

Use cases:

  • Export a list of Service User's that are Diabetic AND part of the 'Afternoon' Group.
  • Export a list of Service User's Medication if they are part of the 'Afternoon' Group AND their Vaccination status is set to YES.

Utilising the fields you have created on StoriiCare in different combinations will enable you to create a whole range of conditional or unconditional reports relative to your requirements.

➡ Medications and Medical Conditions in Care Overview

Both Medications and Medical Conditions, previously displayed on the right hand side of the Care Overview, have now been moved and integrated as fields within the main Care Overview. Both fields are directly connected to the Medical Information area on StoriiCare - any changes made there will automatically update these fields. Similar to the new groups field, you are also able to directly edit Medications and Medical Conditions from within the Care Overview by selecting the edit pencil.

By adding Medications and Medical Conditions directly within the Care Overview, you can now use them as an important filter when exporting data or creating reports.

Use cases:

  • Export a list of specific Group or Individual's medications
  • Export a list of all individuals that take a certain medication or have a certain condition

You will also find that as both Medications and Medical Conditions are now Care Overview fields, they are accessible via our Analytics feature, from which you can easily identify the most common or least common Medications or Medical Conditions for your business.

➡ New Product - Storii (Life Story Calls)

We recently launched a new product, Storii - aimed towards consumers, care providers and health plans.

After working with care providers for over 6 years, we know the importance of practicalities with technology, and also the power of life stories and reminiscence. We wanted to ensure that indvidiauls without modern technology such as smartphones, computers or tablets were not left behind from participating in Life Story work.

Storii offers a simple service that automatically calls your loved one’s home or mobile phone 3 times a week to ask meaningful questions about their life. Individuals can respond and record their life story answers directly on the phone call and answers can then be shared with their families, if selected.

If any StoriiCare clients would like to test our life story calls with their residents, participants, clients or personally, do get in touch! We have found that for many individuals, writing out a full life story can be tiring, and breaking down the activity into carefully chosen questions and recording spoken responses can be a much more enjoyable experience, with higher participation.

Thank you for all your feedback! We truly appreciate you helping us make StoriiCare the best it can be. If you have any feature ideas, feedback or interest in testing upcoming functionality, please visit our feature request board from your StoriiCare profile or get in touch!
